Image Pakistan Limited (PSX: IMAGE) has disclosed that it is evaluating the acquisition of Elegantes London (Holdings) Limited, a Harrods-listed ultra-luxury fragrance and wellness brand with established market presence in the UK and USA.
In a filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday, the company stated that the potential acquisition offers substantial brand equity and significant white-space growth opportunities in the global luxury sector.
Image Pakistan noted that it already has plans to enter the fragrance business and is considering acquiring Elegantes London through its wholly owned UK-based subsidiary, Image International Limited.
The principal activity of the Company is the manufacturing and sale of embroidered fabric and ready-to-wear garments under the brand name Image, which is a high street retail fashion brand.
